When most people hear the word “Yoga” they usually think of the yoga which involves physical exercise, like taking a yoga class.  This kind of yoga, called Hatha yoga, is becoming increasingly popular because it has so many different benefits-benefits which most people often discover only after they start doing it.

While most people associate yoga with Hatha yoga, this is actually only one of eight aspects of a 5000-year-old Indian teaching called Ashtanga yoga, which was first written up as the Yoga Sutras  by a man named Patanjali and has been
